This Cookie Policy explains how AdaptaIQ Inc. ("AdaptaIQ", "Kidaro", "we", "us" or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on kidaro.app and related online services (collectively, the "Service"). It should be read together with the Kidaro Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
What are cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device. We may also use local or session storage, web beacons, pixels and similar technologies to operate the Service, remember preferences, understand usage and measure communications and advertising.

Advertising campaign identifiers and attribution parameters associated with visits, sign-ups or conversion events.
PostHog - website and product analytics on kidaro.app and start.kidaro.app. Where enabled based on consent choices, PostHog may provide session recording functionality on kidaro.app and on the sign-in and account setup pages of start.kidaro.app only. Session recordings are configured to mask form fields for privacy, and pages that show a child's information are never recorded.
Google Analytics - website traffic, visitor behavior, referral sources and overall Service performance.
Sentry - error tracking, diagnostics and application performance monitoring; not used by us for advertising or behavioral profiling.
Where applicable law requires prior consent, non-essential analytics technologies are not activated until consent is provided. Elsewhere, they may be enabled by default where lawful and can be disabled through Cookie Settings.
Functional and Communication Technologies
Intercom - customer support, user communications and newsletter subscriptions. Where Messenger or live chat is enabled, cookies or similar technologies may maintain chat sessions and preferences.
Amazon Simple Email Service (SES) - delivery of transactional and other permitted emails; SES does not set cookies directly on the Service.
Advertising and Measurement Technologies
We may use advertising and measurement technologies to measure campaign effectiveness and attribute visits, registrations, purchases or other conversion events.
Meta Pixel - advertising measurement, conversion attribution and campaign performance. This may involve information about visits, interactions, referral sources, campaign identifiers and conversion events.
Where prior consent is required, advertising or tracking technologies are not activated until the required consent is provided. Where prior consent is not required, they may be enabled by default where lawful and can be disabled through Cookie Settings.
We do not use advertising technologies to create advertising profiles about children or target advertisements to children based on their activity on the Service.

Text or documents that you submit for text adaptation are processed as User Content under the Privacy Policy. They are not treated as cookie or advertising data merely because you use the text adaptation feature.

Depending on the provider and technology, providers may process technical information such as IP address, browser or device information, referral information, campaign identifiers or interaction data. We require appropriate privacy, data-protection and security standards according to the provider's role.
